When you’ve got a role-playing game going, you want to make the setting as realistic as possible. Say you’re doing a campaign on a ship in Star Trek, so you turn on YouTube and play the ever-present rumble of the engine, and wear pins that look like combadges. All of these little aspects help you get into character all the more, which is why having dice that fit the theme is an awesome way to amp up your gaming experience.
While you do normally have companions to go through the myriad of worlds with you, your dice are the only ones who truly stick by you during the whole shebang. They can make or break you, and having a cool set helps (your confidence more than anything). If you’re looking for a six-sided die that is going to add some special ambiance to your game, these LUMA Dice are looking like a pretty solid choice, literally.
These are aluminum die that have 21 LEDs in them, with each side having its own color. The 6 side is blue, 5 side is green, 4 side is red, 3 side is yellow, 2 side is purple, and the single dot is cyan. It is motion activated, and after 20 seconds of no use, it will shut off automatically so you don’t waste any precious battery. This does have a replaceable battery, and uses one that should only cost you around $2, although it should last you for a good deal of time depending on how often you play. This is going to cost you $29 for a set of two, and is certainly going to be a conversation piece for you and your friends. For those with concern, these are weighted appropriately, so you’re still going to get accurate rolls despite the battery and extra bits inside.

DIY Gamer Kit might spark the Shigeru Miyamoto in you
Gamers are a pampered lot, and they will do all that is within their power – financially or otherwise, to make sure that they have an edge over their opponent. In terms of making sure one’s finances give them an edge, I am not referring to bribing competition officials, but rather, to use that money to pick up the best gaming peripherals that their hard earned cash can buy. Of course, while there are many different kinds of gaming mice to choose from like the Tesoro Gungir Optical gaming mouse, some folks prefer to stick to a particular brand, and if Mad Catz products have served you well in the past, why not consider picking up the latest R.A.T.1?
The Mad Catz R.A.T.1 happens to be a high-performance gaming mouse which has been specially developed for everyday use that will boast of a gaming-grade 3500dpi Pixart PMW 3320 optical sensor and an undeniable style that can only be uniquely attributed to Mad Catz. This happens to be a groundbreaking new concept in what a PC gaming Mouse could – and should be, as the R.A.T.1 will feature an innovative modular design, 3D printing and personalization options that you can truly make it your own.
It certainly looks out of the ordinary, that is for sure, as the R.A.T.1 comes with a skeletal Tripod Chassis that is detachable, making it possible to remove the ‘brain’ Sensor Module, so that it ends up as the perfect travel mouse in a reduced size form factor. Not only that though, one is also able to change one’s Palm Rest, and this will not be limited to the ones that Mad Catz are selling, but with your own design. All that you need to do is to download the 3D CAD Modelling Data for their palm rest socket, and play with it using a 3D printer. How’s that for innovation?
When we’re just learning about the world as wee babes, everything is a learning experience. We hone in on patterns to try and make sense of all the goings-on around us so that we don’t fail as adults. One thing you’ll learn pretty quickly when driving a car is that when you hear a car horn, it’s time to pay close attention to everything around you, because your life could be in danger.
If you prefer riding a bicycle, a bike bell is not going to be as easy to recognize as a threat to drivers, which is why you should switch to using a car horn. While there are certainly other gizmos out there that do the same thing, this Loud Mini Bicycle Horn will make sure drivers care about where you are on the road. This powerful little speaker has all the oomph in sound that a full-sized car would, but comes in a package small enough to mount on the front of your bike, and store in your bag when you don’t need it.
This weighs less than a pound, and can hold enough juice in its rechargeable battery to give you the equivalent of 480 honks. Hopefully that should last you 4 months. You color options are either all black, or black and orange, and it will cost you $149. Don’t worry about whether it’s rain or shine, as this is water resistant and can handle hot or cold weather for those of you crazy enough to bike in snow.

Flat screen displays for the home have improved by leaps and bounds ever since the jump to LCD TVs were made compared to the fat and chunky CRTs. Having said that, we have definitely moved on from that of a LCD TV to plasmas at one time, followed by LEDs and now, OLED TVs, curved or otherwise. LG continues to showcase their expertise and flex their muscles in the world of displays by showing off what they have called the world’s largest OLED display. This amazing wonder is a one-of-a-kind signage that has been installed at Incheon International Airport in Seoul, South Korea, in order to introduce the millions of travellers that pass through its terminals each year to the magic of OLED.
LG happens to be the world’s leading OLED TV manufacturer, so it is far from surprising to see such a display make its appearance at South Korea’s Incheon International Airport. LG has collaborated closely with the renowned French design firm Wilmotte & Associés in order to come up with the massive structures that adorn the main terminal of the award-winning airport.
Each individual sign will feature 140 55” curved OLED panels, and this eventually pans out to deliver a display that stands at 13 meters high and 8 meters across, which is the equivalent to three large-sized shipping containers. The two curved displays will boast of a range of content to demonstrate the capabilities of OLED technology, including brilliant fireworks set against a night sky. Taking into consideration that every single individual pixel in an OLED display emits its own light, one does not need to have heavy LED backlighting, which would mean both of the airport displays are incredibly light and flexible, so much so that they are a spectacle to behold as they hang from the ceiling with minimal support.
Does this make you want to run out to purchase an OLED TV now?

If you like having a specific aesthetic in mind for your interior decorating, it’s hard to not try and make everything fit into your vision. If you’re wanting a cabin in the woods feel and you live in a big city, it’s going to be hard to find the cozy, cluttered theme that you like without going out of your way. If you at least want a bit of the visual warmth that wood can bring, then why not go for the decal route?
Our game consoles don’t really fit into a classy or cozy aesthetic, which is why these Custom Gaming Covers from Toast are both hilarious and kind of awesome. They’re available for the Xbox One and Playstation 4 priced at $59, and they come in options of walnut, ash, bamboo, and ebony. For what they are, they look pretty great, and are relatively convincing that they could just as easily be an old radio to anyone who isn’t looking hard enough.
Sadly there aren’t decals to go on the controllers anywhere in sight, but that doesn’t mean that you can’t find them elsewhere. If you’re feeling extra fancy, you can even get a custom design put on this! These are rather pricey just to achieve a desired effect, but hey, if you got it, spend it mercilessly so you can feel at peace when you look at all the cool stuff you have. That’s how that works, right?

If you want to eat, breathe, and sleep in the world of acting for the big screen, you need to spend every moment of your day practicing for your next role. You must be able to switch between characters and emotions at the drop of a hat. Should you be the competitive type by nature, you could always challenge yourself with the most challenging challenge to ever challenge you.
This Clapperboard Digital Alarm Clock looks like the clapboards that are used on set for movies and shows alike, and requires you to do the clapper motion to end the alarm. You could wake up, hit the clapper and practice characters as soon as you rip yourself away from the land of dreams. Maybe you could even record your performance with your phone to laugh at how poorly the groggy version of yourself does. Even if you don’t do that, this Alarm Clock does seem pretty cool for the actor-types that like to have reminders of their profession all over the place.
This has an LCD 24 hour clock display that shows military time. It will give you the hour, minute, second, deci-second, and display the date with day, month, and year so you know exactly when you are. This is no cheap trinket at around $77, and you’ll likely need an adapter for the power as this is coming out of the UK, but it depends on how far you’re willing to go for novelty!

It surely looks as though we are pretty keen on living out the wireless lifestyle, and have been for quite some time to come already. After all, having cables are a bore – they tend to get all tangled up, and can be pretty frustrating if you were to untangle them. While Bluetooth speakers are pretty common, the same cannot be said of Bluetooth music receivers, but the latter category of devices have been given a boost thanks to the Kinivo BTR200 Bluetooth music receiver.
What makes the Kinivo BTR200 Bluetooth music receiver so special? For starters, it will be able to upgrade your current audio and video systems thanks to Bluetooth capabilities, where you then wirelessly stream music from your library or favorite apps straight to your stereo or TV in a matter of seconds in order to enjoy instant music gratification. Not only that, this particular device will target those who frequently make use their mobile devices frequently to listen and stream music regardless of where their physical location is in the home.
The Kinivo BTR200 Bluetooth music receiver can be picked up for $39.99 a pop, although it has been introduced with a special price of $29.99 for a limited time only over at Amazon.com. At first glance, it looks as though this is one R2-D2 that has fallen into the hands of Islamic State (IS), taking into consideration how his polished dome has been lopped off its head. After all, beheadings seem to be rather common by the terrorist organization, and I am quite sure that the galactic empire has its fair share of human rights – or rather, droid rights violations as well. Having said that, the $49.99 Star Wars R2-D2 Bluetooth Speakerphone has not been tortured in any way, since it is meant to look like that.
If you are are a Star Wars fan and cannot get enough of the space opera, looking forward to the next instalment of the movie as it happens later next month, then you might as well go nuts with Star Wars merch from now on. The Star Wars R2-D2 Bluetooth Speakerphone happens to be a ThinkGeek creation and exclusive, but unfortunately for the rest of the world (meaning those living outside of the US and Canada), it cannot be shipped there no thanks to licensing agreements. Still, what is there to stop your friend from personally bringing it to you as a gift, right? One thing’s for sure, R2-D2’s cash cow has not quite run dry just yet, and he remains an extremely popular subject when it comes to monetizing the sci-fi series. Other than that, the Star Wars R2-D2 Bluetooth Speakerphone is as what its name suggests – a Bluetooth speakerphone.

Not all headphones are created equal, that is for sure. After all, some can be said to be more expensive than the others, and that is to be expected. Having said that, certain headphones developed do happen to be more special than the rest, and this is where the Twisters Headphones come in. The Twisters Headphones does not only deliver quality audio to your ears so that you can enjoy your favorite music while you are on the move, they also boast of a very special feature – by twisting them out, they end up as a high quality Bluetooth Speaker, now how about that? It is as though the Transformers are among us, don’t you think so?
The Twisters Headphones can be said to be literally a 2-in-1 deal which will function in the exact same manner of how they have been described as. When you ponder over this, it would mean doing away with the need for a dedicated Bluetooth speaker. Where sound quality is concerned, should you happen to be a huge fan of bass, then these are definitely for you! They are booming when they are residing on your head, and as you twist the headphones into Bluetooth speaker mode, the sound made up as absurdly loud, which might even make you wish you had listened to it in Bluetooth speaker mode right from the very beginning.
The Twisters Headphones also do seem to come with a rather tough looking design, so do not expect them to be as sleek looking as a pair of Beats or clean cut like Noontech headphones. Not only that, they also feel rather heavy, and each purchase will be accompanied by a 2 year warranty. Hence, the asking price of $59.95 does make it well worth the effort of picking a pair up, taking into consideration how this would be one of the more versatile headphones that you will ever end up purchasing.
