So, you are armed to the teeth with the latest gizmos and gadgets whenever you travel, and have the chance to “show off” to your mates as well as travel companions on just how there is a gizmo for everything, but the major drawback to all of these electronics devices would be battery life – or rather, the limited juice that each battery carries. This would more often than not translate to a slew of chargers that you have to tote around, which will definitely weigh you down whenever you travel. Perhaps it is time for a paradigm shift, as you might need to call upon reserves of emergency power during certain situations, and this is where the new Trent Travelpak and Travelpak+ come in handy.
Regardless of whether you are a business or leisure traveler, both the Travelpak and Travelpak+ will be able to work nicely together, where your eyes are greeted by a sleek, compact design alongside a powerful battery, with the Travelpak maxing out at 4000mAh while the Travelpak+ has a 7000mAh charge. These two gizmos will most probably be able to ensure that all USB-based devices, ranging from smartphones to tablets will be able to remain fully charged, without having to consume more precious space in your travel luggage.
There is an integrated AC adapter and dual USB ports on both the Trent Travelpak and Travelpak+ which will conveniently offer users the freedom to leave all other chargers back home, as this seems to be the only charger that you need to pack whenever you hit the road. The Travelpak and Travelpak+’s integrated AC Adapter will boast of passthrough charging technology, and in plain English, that would mean you can juice up a couple of USB-based devices thanks to its 1A and 2.1A ports, as the battery pack remains plugged into an outlet that is being charged up for the next day. Other than that, there are 4 ambient LED status indicator lights which can also function as a nightlight which can be toggled on and off.
Those who want the Trent Travelpak will have to fork out $44.95 for it, while the Travelpak+ is going for a slightly higher price at $54.95, which could very well be worth every additional penny since it carries nearly double the battery capacity.
Bluetooth enabled speakers are dime a dozen, and these seem to proliferate just about anywhere and every accessory shop that you go to. Having said that, it would also mean it is more challenging to select the right kind of Bluetooth enabled speakers, considering the vast choice that there is available to the average consumer. This calls for a more discerning eye, and with the Satechi BT Touch Speaker, you know that your ears will be treated to quality sounds without having to break the bank.
The Satechi BT Touch Speaker would come across as a compact and portable Bluetooth speaker which has been touted to be ideal for both office and travel use. It is capable of delivering powerful, dynamic sound, despite its relatively small size, of course. This is yet further proof of not judging a book by its cover, or in this case, the quality of audio by the speaker’s size. This small yet mighty Satechi BT Touch Speaker is said to have the ability to fill a room with crystal clear audio thanks to its 2.5 X 2 watt dual-channel speaker system. The presence of a built-in microphone also enables the speaker to double up as a hands-free calling device which will play nice with just about any smartphone these days, as long as they support Bluetooth connectivity, that is.
Good design principles are not compromised or forgotten either with the Satechi BT Touch Speaker, where it sports a glossy, sleek black look that ought to find a place in any office aesthetic. The speaker itself will boast of modern, blue LED touch buttons which are able to control audio playback, volume and answer calls. Not only that, the extra features that were thrown into the mix include a rechargeable lithium ion battery as well as a built-in 3.5mm jack so that it can handle legacy, non-Bluetooth enabled devices. Right now, the Satechi BT Touch Speaker is going for an introductory price of $49.99 a pop.

Digital Treasures should be a name that is no stranger to some of us, and they themselves have managed to add another option to the wireless world of audio with their latest release, the Lyrix Duo, which is essentially a 2-in-1 Bluetooth speaker that boasts of a removable receiver. Hmmm, this is something very different from the usual Bluetooth speaker actually, as the Lyrix Duo allows you to chill out or rock out to your favorite tunes regardless of where you are, at any time, too. I suppose you can call this as a new way to fall in love with your music all over again.
Brian Austin, President of Digital Treasures, said, “There are so many wireless options on the market today; but, the Lyrix Duo is a completely different experience. Its functionality is unmatched because it doesn’t limit you to only listening through the Lyrix Duo speaker. Get this – you can actually take out the wireless receiver and attach it to ANY other speaker in your home turning it into a Bluetooth device! Now that’s versatility!”
This particular wireless receiver is attached to the Lyrix Duo speaker via a mini USB port, where the user will be able to pair the device with their Bluetooth-enabled device, and it results in stunning, clear sound with up to 33-feet of working wireless range. There is also a suction cup located on the back of the speaker that enables the user to connect it to almost any finished surface, ranging from windows in the home or office to perhaps the car windshield.
When attaching, all you need to do is move the Suction Cup Lever clockwise, resulting in a safe and secure fit. This small Bluetooth receiver is easily removable from the speaker, as long as you lightly grasp it near the top and lift it out. This would allow it to work in tandem with home speakers and headphones thanks to the included auxiliary cables. The receiver will boast of a power button and volume controls, while a flashing red or blue light will let you know whenever the receiver is ready to connect to a Bluetooth-enabled device. The Lyrix Duo will retail for $49.99 if you are interested in picking one up.

We did take a look at a NERF shooter yesterday, but that did not really come with the kind of sustaining firepower as it holds only 3 darts in its ammo reserves. The thing is, the NERF Triad Elite has an advantage of an extremely long range – we’re talking about being able to shoot up to 75 feet here, people! Well, for those who want something meatier, then you can settle for the $16.99 NERF Strongarm Elite Blaster, which also comes with a shooting range of up to 75 feet, and it will be able to splatter your target (if you are a good shot) with all 6 darts in rapid succession if the situation calls for it.
Of course, the asking price is also higher than the Triad Elite, but that is to be expected when you get a higher level of performance in turn. You can more or less say that the NERF Strongarm Elite Blaster is in the Elite line, where all of the darts and the internal firing mechanisms have been specially configured to achieve the 75 feet range, which is more or less double what most regular NERF products out there are capable of. The tactical rail itself has also been moved to the gun body, making it the sidearm of choice when you want to dominate the office.

When was the last time you had plenty of fun around the office with your colleagues, or at home in your own backyard with the kids? Surely getting a set of NERF guns to play with would help lighten up the seriousness of a particular situation, and it is great at building bridges in a safe and healthy manner. Well, assuming you are the type who feel it is best to take the enemy “out” before he or she is able to reach you, then the $9.99 NERF Triad Elite 3-Dart Mini Blaster would seem to be the ideal weapon of choice.
After all, the NERF Triad Elite 3-Dart Mini Blaster is capable of firing three shots at a range of 75 feet away. 75 feet! That’s really far, and it shoots three darts, not simultaneously, but one at a time, from that great a distance. The smart technology involved here will let the NERF Triad Elite 3-Dart Mini Blaster know just which barrels are loaded, hence directing air to those barrels only without you going through the motions of a misfire. Surely it is never too early to prepare for a summer that is filled with fun, right?

When it comes to computer peripherals, a company with the pedigree of Logitech certainly cannot be overlooked. After all, they have come up with their fair share of computer keyboards, mice, and speakers in the past that would surely have garnered quite a sizeable following until now. Well, the last half year was spent by the folks over at Logitech, as they mulled over just what were the missing ingredients in the world of PC gaming accessories, and in order to deliver what gamers want, they laid down a challenge to themselves, hoping to make a difference where it really counts. All of that thinking and passion has resulted in the spanking new Logitech G lineup, where you can see a sample that is depicted above.
The new Logitech G range of gaming accessories exemplifies the company’s passion for science, where it will comprise of half a dozen redesigned mice and keyboard favorites, which will also be accompanied by a couple of new headsets, where each one of them features advanced technology that were specifically designed to improve gamers’ performance.
Using Delta Zero sensor technology to deliver high accuracy cursor control, you will also be able to enjoy the touch of advanced surface materials for a more comfortable precision grip, and anti-ghosting keys make sure that during those frenzied moments in a game, you will not lock up the entire keyboard even when pressing multiple keys simultaneously when the pressure is piling. Anyone who goes travels – whether across the globe or across town – knows the importance of keeping chargers on the ready. You never know when you may have a few seconds to charge up. Keeping the cables organized is a different story though. Personally, my travel bag always resembles a hornets nest. Between cables and headphones. Bleeeech! It’s a mess. And gosh forbid you are totally on the go and don’t have a place to put a cable. Some smart folks in California took a look at this very dilemma and came up with a perfect solution that received some attention at CES last week.
Meet ChargeCard, a compact USB charger that fits virtually anywhere in your life. These card sized units, available for iPhone 4 or 5 and in micro USB, fit in places as small as your wallet. When you need to charge find a USB port pull back the rubber tongue and plug in. Then plug the adapter into your phone or device. The USB plug snaps back into place when done charging. It functions just like any other USB cable so yes, you can sync too. As simple as the concept may seem, ChargeCard is apparently something that we all need as the project received plenty of CES press and tripled their Kickstarter goal last summer. Sometimes some of the simplest gadgets are the most helpful though! Pick up your own ChargeCard in black or white for $25. Tweet about ChargeCard and get a discount too. And leave the manic charging and crazy cable blues behind.

I can still remember the first time I had my fortune told using a Tarot card deck. I was only 12 years old and it was in an old restaurant in New York City. I remembered being frightened and at the same time, excited by the old woman who whispered to me the meanings of the cards as they were laid out on the table. I knew I wanted a deck of those cards, they seemed so mystical and important in her old gnarled fingers. I got the cards, but they never quite presented the same unearthly appeal they had that night.
These attractive and symbolic fortunetelling cards have been around since the 1400′s with the the first known documented cards having been created between 1430 and 1450 in northern Italy and they continue to have worldwide appeal. Originally used for games, Tarot continues to find use as a tool for personal insight, spiritual guidance and divination, and millions of printed Tarot decks are still being sold all over the world. WizardToo LLC is now bringing this centuries old tradition into the digital age with its new Tarot e-cards, making the world of Tarot more accessible and much easier-to-use for anyone with a mobile device. Now we can all have the World of Tarot at our fingertips.
This new Tarot eCards App is designed with an intuitive, easy-to-use interface that simulates real tarot card use and makes Tarot accessible on most mobile devices. The newly introduced Tarot eCards is the only Tarot App where users can actually build and use a library of Tarot decks within a single App platform. The Tarot eCards iOS App is available for the iPad, iPhone and iPod touch. Applications are under development for our Android devices, and Mac and PC computers will be telling our futures sometime this Spring.
Somehow I’m not sure that spooky old lady would have had the same magical appeal had she told my fortune with her iPhone, but we cant know that for sure, can we? I mean, she was right about a lot of things. Get your Tarot eCards at the app store for under 4 bucks.
Remember the 1980s? Ah well, I am quite sure that many of the younger generation who were born in the 1990s would not have had the kind of fun that we had with ghetto blasters as well as boomboxes, basically being a terror on every side of the adults in the neighborhood. While we generally made a big nuisance of ourselves, this did not mean that we were out to do harm to anyone, unlike the seemingly more violence-inclined society of today. Well, if you are absolutely the type who needs to go one up on the rest of the “competition”, or peers, then you would surely find a way to scrounge up $4,000 lying around somewhere for the Mobile Blastmaster.
The Mobile Blastmaster has been described as a portable stereo system that will bring the ultimate optimization to the 30 year-old concept of the portable audio player, where it allows you to invite the police to come knocking on your front doorstep early in the wee hours of the morning as you blast your music at backyard or tailgate parties. Specially constructed onto a steel chassis, it will roll on a quartet of 10″-diameter pneumatic tires regardless of the terrain, sand and snow included, and is pulled along and steered with an integrated wagon handle. The eight PA-quality Piezo horn tweeters, two “6
When it comes to gaming peripherals, I am quite sure that many folks would have the name Razer clearly embedded within their kinds, and for obvious reasons, too. Well, here we are with something that most folks tend to overlook as they concentrate more on the hardware power underneath the hood, in addition to the size of their monitor, and of course, who can leave out a thumping audio system to complement the awesome graphics? You will also need a decent gaming keyboard that has enough memory for a plethora of macro controls, while a gaming mouse which works best to the genre of games that you play is also important. Having said that, the kind of surface which your gaming mouse glides over is also important, and this is where Razer’s latest achievement, the Razer Megasoma 2 Mouse Mat, comes in handy.
The Razer Megasoma 2 Mouse Mat is said to be a revolutionary hybrid gaming mouse mat that comes with two kinds of surfaces – hard, as well as soft. In a nutshell, this hybrid gaming mouse mat will bring together the best of both worlds, combining the stability and performance of a hard mat with the flexibility and comfort of a soft surface.
Since it works that way, you as the gamer will enjoy the benefits of both hard and soft surfaces, where the silicon remains taut and stable for consistent mousing performance and precise motion control. While doing so, it is also flexible, just like a soft mat, so that users are able to enjoy a cushioned feel underneath their hands thanks to its cloth-top layer. Other improvements found in the Razer Megasoma 2 compared to its predecessor include an ergonomically thinner profile, an anti-static treated surface and anti-fraying edges which will go great lengths in increasing its durability. The Razer Megasoma 2 mouse mat is now available worldwide for $39.99/€39.99 a pop.
